Dr. Charu Gautam,Director- Clinical Operations
Dr. Charu Gautam is a Clinical Pharmacologist with about 12 years of experience in clinical research and academics. She has the experience of conducting several clinical studies including first in man, early exploratory trials, Bioequivalence studies and patient based clinical trials in various therapeutic areas. Prior to joining BA, she worked with Lambda as Head of Global Clinical Operations. She is qualified as MD (Pharmacology) from Gujarat University and has a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Clinical Pharmacology from NBE New Delhi.
Dr. Shaifali Gupta, Head- Central Lab
Dr. Shaifali, MD (Pathology) brings in 10 years of experience in the field of pathology. Prior to joining BA, she has worked as the Lab head at Super Religare Laboratories, Ahmedabad, responsible for its pathology and wellness services and as a consultant pathologist with Supratech Micropath Lab. She has hands on experience with CAP audits and is also empanelled as a NABL assessor.
Chirag Shah Head-Clinical Trials
Mr. Chirag brings multidisciplinary experience of more than 11 years in area of Product development in Pharma, Biotech companies and CRO. His expertise is in Global Project Management (Discovery, Clinical-Phase I-IV, Preclinical), Regulatory, Medical Services, Pharmalicensing, Financial Management, System development and Marketing. He has worked for companies such as, Cipla, Intas, Alembic,Nicholas Piramal and SIRO. He is an M.Pharm from BITS, Pilani and PGDPM from IESs Management College, Mumbai. He is pursuing his PhD in Pharmacy.
Arpana Prasad, Assoc. Director, Bioanalytical lab
Ms Prasad brings in over 12 years of research experience. She is presently responsible for supervising development and validation of bioanalytical methods of various drugs and their active metabolites in different biological matrices. She has work experience in bioanalytics for Bioavailability and Bioequivalence studies. She has also handled advanced instruments like HPLC, LC/MS/MS. Prior to BA Research, Ms Arpana was with Ranbaxy Research Labs. She has B.A Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Delhi University, New Delhi and M.B.A. from IGNOU University, Delhi.
Robert A. Harper, Executive Vice President, Dermatology
Dr. Harper has over 25 years of dermatology experienceincluding basic skin research, new technology discovery for topical products, clinical safety and efficacy testing ofconsumer products, OTC and Rx drugs. He has managed several university and industry research programs includingin vitro toxicology and product development leading to marketed topical products. He has been an active memberof American Academy of Dermatology Society of Investigative Dermatology – AAAS. He served as Director ofClinical Research at PRACS Institute, Ltd., Fargo, ND. during 2004-2006. Prior to that, he was with DermTechInternational, San Diego, CA as Executive Vice President during 1997-1998 and with Cosmederm Technologies Inc, LaJolla, CA as Vice President Clinical Development during 1996-1997. He was with of California Skin ResearchInstitute, San Diego serving as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer during 1996-1997. Prior to that, he servedas Research Director of Product Safety Testing in Hill-Top Inc. and had also worked as a manager of Biotechnologywith Helene Curtis Inc. He was on faculty at Temple University Medical School, Skin & Cancer Hospital,Philadelphia, PA during 1972-1987 and also worked with University of Pennsylvania as a Senior Scientist during1987-1989. He has published 38 papers in peer-reviewedjournals, including 2 papers in SCIENCE.
Shanon Walaker, Manager, Dermatology
Ms. Walaker brings 11 years of experience in clinical research. She worked as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator at Cetero Research for 9 years with concentration in dermatology. Prior to her position as Manager of Dermatology with BA Research she worked as a Clinical Research Associate at CoAxia in medical device research.
Vijay Patel, Executive Director
Mr. Patel brings in 21 years of experience in Marketing and Management. He was a founder and CEO of an eLearning Company in USA. He has been with Autodesk, Inc., a leading software giant in Silicon Valley, responsible for imaging products for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Autodesk he was a Chairperson of Bachelors Degree program at California Accredited, Cogswell College.
Naveen Sharma, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Sharma brings in over 15 years of research experience. He has work experience in bio-analytics, pharmacokinetics and pharmaceutics for a number of bioavailability, bioequivalence, pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies for various regulatory submissions. Prior to BA Research, Mr. Sharma was with Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. He also worked with Lupin Labs and Ranbaxy Research Labs. He has a Masters of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi
Anita Kaul, V.P QA
Mrs Kaul has over 20 years of experience in research. She has experience in implementing policies and procedures to maintain the regulatory compliance of the organization, assuring the level of compliance to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Prior to BA, she served as Asst. Director-Quality Assurance at Dabur Research Foundation. She has also worked with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories and All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She has M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Panjab University.
Dr. Simran Sethi, GM Medical Affairs
Dr. Simran Sethi a medical graduate from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is qualified clinical research professional having around 12 years of research experience. She has experience in managing BA/BE clinical studies international Phase II, III and IV Clinical Trials. Her therapeutic field experience in clinical trials is in Endocrinology, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology, Oncology and Respiratory. Her past associations are with Fortis, Neeman Medical & Eli Lilly India.
Dr. Gauri Patel, Manager -Training Team
Dr. Gauri has around 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance in BA/BE studies. She has dealt with of quality monitoring of procedures to ensure regulatory compliance in field of bio-analytical, PK & biostatistics and clinical. Prior to BA, she has worked in biotechnology department of Cadila Pharmaceuticals. She hold M.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Life-Sciences, from Gujarat University.
Anshul Dogra, Assoc. Director, Bioanalytical lab
Mr Dogra brings in over 09 years of research experience. He has work experience in bioanalytics for Bioavailability and Bioequivalence studies. He is overall responsible for the technical conduct of the study, as well as for interpretation, analysis, documentation and reporting of the results. He also handled advanced instruments like HPLC, LC/MS/MS. Prior to BA Research, Mr Dogra was with Ranbaxy Research Labs. He is M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi
Hitesh Chauhan, Assoc. Director-Pharmacokinetics & Biostatistics
Mr Chauhan has 11 years of experience in handling Statistical analysis & report writing for Phase-I, III, IV studies. He provides inputs for protocol, CRF design, randomization, sample size estimation, basic data management, statistical analysis and report writing as per regulatory requirement for clinical trials and BA/BE studies. He has experience in statistical analysis of various therapeutic areas like cardiovascular, diabetes, respiratory, arthritis, gastrointestinal, skin and psychiatry. Prior to joining BA, he was with Novartis (NICCI). He is M. Sc. in Statistics
Rahul Nijhawan, Assoc. Director-Global Project management
Mr. Rahul has over 9 years of total research experience including around seven years of experience in analytical research. Presently responsible for the management, planning and execution of projects allocated to India. Responsible for communicating project updates to relevant project teams and management. Prior to BA Research, Mr. Rahul worked with Ranbaxy Research Labs. He has M. Pharm in pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Pankaj Sachdeva, Manager-CDM
Pankaj has over 7 Years of experience in Clinical Data Management. He has good experience and expertise in all phases of clinical data management and pharmacovigilance.Pankaj has hands on-experience on industry standard application like Oracle Clinical, RAVE, SAS Pheedit, Argus etc.Prior to Joining BA Research, Pankaj was associated with Quintiles, INC and i3 Statprobe. Pankaj has a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration.
